  • To Send Updates and Newsletters: We may send you emails containing updates, newsletters, or information related to JLPT Cards.
  • To Tell You About Premium: After you create a free account, we may send you a short series of automated emails with study tips and offers for a JLPT Cards Premium subscription. These emails stop once you subscribe or unsubscribe. We only promote our own products and never sell or share your email address with other companies for their marketing.
  • To Send Account Emails: We send emails needed to run your account, such as sign-in codes, receipts, and subscription notices. These are not marketing emails and are sent even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
  • To Respond to Inquiries: If you contact us with questions or requests, we will use your email address to respond to you.

  • Email: We send emails through Resend, which stores your email address on our behalf. Our emails may contain small tracking images and tracked links that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to improve our emails.
  • Preferences and progress: We store settings and study progress in your browser's local storage so the site works as you left it. This data stays on your device.

In the event of a price change for our app. We aim to provide as much notice as possible prior to any increase in price, allowing you to make an informed decision regarding your subscription.

8. Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with JLPT Cards. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. No questions asked.
  • How to Request a Refund: To request a refund, please contact us at hello@jlptcards.com within the 14-day window.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Canceling stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless you are within the 14-day guarantee window.
  • After the Refund Window: Payments made more than 14 days prior to your refund request are non-refundable.
